About Me
Hi,
My name is Sue and I’m the mother of four kids ages eight, six, three and two. Yes, I know what you’re thinking. . . I’m either: brave, crazy or stupid. The truth is, I’m a little of all three. You’d have to be to have four kids in six years, right?
Even though my husband and I didn’t plan it that way I wouldn’t go back and change a thing.
Actually I take that back. I would change how little I knew when I had my first baby. There are things I am just now learning with my third and fourth kid that I wish I had known with my first and second. Things like do I really need to buy a big highchair or should I just buy a booster seat to put in a chair? What product gets out the bright, orange, carrot, baby food stain on a white t-shirt? How do I get my kid to go to bed without a fight? I can’t breastfeed . . . now what?
So there’s the premise to my blog. To help Mommy’s (and Daddy’s) find the tried and true products, tips and life lessons without having to do it the hard way.
Now let me note that I’m not a doctor, child psychotherapist, or an “expert” on children in anyway besides the fact that I have four of them that I raise twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. That works out to roughly 70,080 hours of work related experience thus far. So I guess take it for what it’s worth but in the end if you don’t take any other advice or tips from my blog at least take this one. . . Do what works for you and your family. Try things out. If it works, great! If it doesn’t, then don’t do it any more. :-) My hope is to at least help you narrow down your choices so you won’t waste more time and energy than absolutely necessary to enjoy the hardest job ever, being The Mom.
